South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, revealed how her daughter Kairo Forbes will be spending her first birthday without her father — slain rapper AKA, via an Instagram Story on Monday 1 May.

Kairo Forbes, the daughter of slain rapper AKA and DJ Zinhle will celebrate her eighth birthday on 8 July. This will be her first birthday without her dad — Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
DJ Zinhle revealed that for her eighth birthday Kairo wants a trip to New York as seen in the DJ’s Instagram Story on Monday 1 May.
“Kairo’s birthday trip to New York is going to be expensive. Send coins!!!” she wrote.
“My sweet girl has decided she wants to travel every year for her birthday as if there’s a birthday allowance that just drops from heaven,” she wrote.

DJ ZINHLE’S FAMILY VACATION
This comes after Zinhle and Murdah Bongz enjoyed a family vacation with Kairo and Asante Mohosana at an undisclosed location. Murdah Bongz calls himself DJ Zinhle’s “husband” but they are not yet married. The former Black Motion star paid lobola for the Umlilo hitmaker but they plan on having a wedding after building a home together.
