‘RHOJ’s’ Nicole sick of calls after ex Veli’s engagement to Palesa

Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ) star Nicole Watson says she’s tired of the phone calls and messages following her ex-partner Veli Ngubane’s engagement to Afternoon Express presenter Palesa Tembe.

VELI NGUBANE WAS REPORTEDLY SET TO APPEAR ON ‘RHOJ’

According to sources who spoke to Zimoja, the break up between Nicole and Veli is still somewhat fresh as he was supposed to appear on the third season of RHOJ with her. One source claimed that the businessman changed his mind on the day of shooting.

Another source added that although they were already engaged as Veli asked Nicole’s father for her hand in marriage in 2018, he had planned to surprise her with an engagement ring on the show.

“He had planned a surprise with the help of some cast members but changed his mind. Maybe he realised he was in love with Palesa Tembe,” said the source.

Another mole claimed that Palesa was always there.

“When Ngubane got sick after his surgery, he went and stayed with Watson, the two were working on their relationship, but as soon as he healed he left and went back to his lover.”

NICOLE WATSON IS HAPPY FOR HER NEWLY ENGAGED EX

However, Nicole says that she is happy for her baby daddy and his new fiance and wishes them all the best.

“I don’t know how many calls I got this week from people checking up on me. I am fine… he has moved on and I am happy for him and wish them all the best,” the reality TV star said.

The actress added that she was not going to rush into marriage with Veli when they had serious problems to fix.

PALESA TEMBE AND VELI NGUBANE’S PICTURESQUE ENGAGEMENT

Media personality Palesa – the late Anele Tembe’s sister – took to her Instagram on Wednesday to share stunning pictures of her lavish and intimate engagement when her Veli popped the question at the Quoin Rock Wine Lounge, in Stellenbosch.

The happy couple spared no expenses as Veli surprised Palesa with a helicopter ride, romantic music on the grand white piano, roses and of course, the special moment.
