According to Savanna News, not only does Mlotshwa get R65 000 maintenance from her ex-husband Black Coffee, but she also was said to charge around R60 000 for her acting roles. She also gets paid for her endorsement and ambassador deals on the side.

Her net worth is unavailable, however, by looking at her lengthy acting career and business partnerships, we can safely say that Mlotshwa has amassed a considerable net worth over the years.

The actress got married to International DJ Black Coffee in 2011. They had an extravagant wedding in front of family and friends, and were considered as one of Mzansi’s power couples. They later had two boys Asante and Anesu who gained three older step brothers from Black Coffee’s former relationships, The South African previously reported.

In 2019, the couple shocked their fans when they called it quits.

During their divorce, Mlotshwa was said to have demanded Black Coffee to pay her medical expenses, child support, and R17 800 for her beauty cosmetics, telling the court that the International musician took home R100 million a year, adding that he could afford it, Savanna News reported.

The court reportedly only granted her R15 000 for spousal maintenance and R50 000 for child maintenance.

According to Zalebs, in 2015, Mlotshwa ventured out into the business field and launched SE Preggoz, a maternity clothing line in South Africa and New York.

The brand’s mission aimed at making pregnant women to feel sexy and stylish even during their pregnancy.

The actress-turned-entrepreneur was said to have won an award in 2020 for her second fashion line, this time a garment line named Essie Apparel, which Mlotshwa launched in 2019.

It was said that one of American star, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s Global Citizen Festival dresses, particularly the emerald outfit, was in fact, one of Mlotshwa’s pieces which she reportedly collaborated with designers Quiteria and George to create.

Mlotshwa was said to also have a partnership with Jonny Walker. Other celebs who were reportedly roped in to partner with the high-end brand are International comedian Trevor Noah and professional swimmer Chad le Clos.
