Twitter users are convinced that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is defending television host Nick Cannon after he announced that his ex-girlfriend Britney Bell is carrying his tenth child on Wednesday 24 August.

ELON MUSK: ‘LOW BIRTH RATES IS A MUCH BIGGER RISK TO CIVILISATION THAN GLOBAL WARMING’

Nick Cannon announced that he was expecting his third child with ex-girlfriend Britney Bell via an Instagram post on Wednesday 24 August. This is his tenth child, after he welcomed his eighth child with Bre Tresi in June this year. According to TMZ, he also has his ninth baby on the way with Abby de la Rosa.

Tweeps are convinced that billionaire Elon Musk’s tweet about the “underpopulation crisis” was in defence of Cannon’s tenth baby. Musk is a father of 10 himself after welcoming twins with his top executive Shivon Zilis in November 2021, weeks before welcoming his second child with Canadian musician Grimes.

“Population collapse due to low birth rates is a much bigger risk to civilization than global warming,” he tweeted.

Some Tweeps joked about Cannon paying Musk for the tweet. Take a look…

“How much did Nick Cannon pay him to tweet this,” wrote @EwdatsGROSS.

“Nick Cannon is single handedly fixing the problem,” wrote @_TomoTV.

“He and Nick Cannon are having a race,” wrote @RSchusterJR.

DID MUSK URGE CANNON TO HAVE MORE KIDS?

This comes after the billionaire seemingly urged the Wildin’ Out host to have more kids.

“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far,” tweeted Musk after the news of his twins with Zilis broke.

“Right there with you my Brother!✊????,” commented Cannon.

“Congrats on your family! We must expand scope & scale of consciousness for civilization to flourish & understand nature of Universe. Consciousness resides most strongly in humans, therefore we need more people!” responded Musk in a tweet that seems to have been removed.
