Baby No 11? Billionaire Elon Musk on having more kids

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk opened up about the possibility of having more kids in an interview with the Financial Times published on Friday 7 October.

ELON MUSK ON HAVING MORE KIDS 

Father of 10, Elon Musk said that he is “pretty sure there are no other babies looming”. However, the billionaire called himself an “autumn chicken” and revealed that he isn’t opposed to welcoming more children in the future.

The billionaire also revealed that his friends proposed he have as many as 500 kids but he thought that would be a “bit weird”. He added that he would reproduce to the point where he can be a good father.

The Tesla CEO emphasised that he is not expecting any more babies anytime soon. Musk is vocal about his feelings on the “underpopulation crisis”. 

“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far,” he tweeted in July, just a day after news broke of his twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

ALL THE KIDS AND ‘BABY MAMAS’

• Musk and his ex-wife Justine Wilson have six children together. A pair of twins – Griffin and Vivian, who changed her name and gender in April. Triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai
• The pair also had another son together in 2002, but he unfortunately lost his life to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at 10 weeks old.
• The billionaire also has two children with Canadian musician Claire Elise Boucher, popularly known as Grimes. A son named X Æ A-XII and a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl, who they welcomed via surrogate.
• Musk also welcomed a pair of twins with Neuralink executive Zilis. The pair reportedly welcomed their twins via surrogate.
