DJ Zinhle’s brothers discussed the father of her child Murdah Bongz paying damages on the latest episode of ‘DJ Zinhle: Unexpected’

On the latest episode of DJ Zinhle: Unexpected, the businesswoman’s family discussed how the father of her child, Murdah Bongz will pay damages for their baby, Asante.
DJ ZINHLE’S FAMILY WEIGHS IN ON MURDAH BONGZ PAYING DAMAGES
DJ Zinhle explained that with her siblings everything was straight forward because they got married and had children. Therefore, the customs were “easier” for the family to navigate.
While she thinks she made life complicated for them because she has two children from two different men, DJ Zinhle has six-year-old Kairo Forbes with rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes. Her family memes explained that AKA paid damages for Kairo. Therefore, Kairo got her father’s surname — Forbes. The Hair Majesty owner revealed she had to tell Kairo about her pregnancy last.
“To my knowledge you pay damages, after paying for damages you will pay the dowry for the child, then only can the child use the paternal surname,” says DJ Zinhle’s brother, Zenzele Jiyane.
After understanding that the dowry is paid for the child, DJ Zinhle said “I love when the dowry is paid for the child, not me,”.

DID MURDAH BONGZ PAY DAMAGES?
Therefore, Murdah Bongz, whose real name is Bongani Mohosananeeded to have paid damages for Asante for her to take his surname.
“If the guy (Murdah Bongz) does come then we’ll sit down, talk about it and have the damages paid,” said DJ Zinhle’s older brother, Zakhele Jiyane.
Asante goes as “Mohosana” which is Murdah Bongz surname so it seems he may have paid damages as the episode was filmed months ago. Asante was born on 8 September.
DJ ZINHLE STILL WON’T MARRY MURDAH BONGZ
During the episode, the Umlilo hitmaker reiterated that she does not want to marry Murdah Bongz. However, this has nothing to do with Murdah Bongz, who she adores. It is because she just never wanted to get married.
In an earlier episode of the show, the DJ’s sister revealed that since she was a child she never wanted to get married.
“She wanted seven kids. I dont know anymore because she’s getting older so I don’t know when she is going to get ti kid number seven,” said Gugu.
“I’ve never wanted to get married, you know this,” responded Zinhle.
“I don’t know perhaps she will reconsider marriage after the birth of her second child, but she always says she doesn’t want to get married,” replied Gugu.
