DJ Zinhle has shared a cute photo of her ‘husband’ Murdah Bongz carrying her first born Kairo Forbes, who she shares with late rapper AKA.

South African DJ and businesswoman DJ Zinhle shared an adorable photo of her “husband” Murdah Bongz carrying Kairo Forbes, from what could have been late rapper AKA’s listening party as his album Mass Country dropped on Friday 24 February.

Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA’s was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. DJ Zinhle welcomed her first child Kairo Forbes in 2015 with AKA. In 2021, she welcomed her second child, Asante Mohosana, with musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz.
Murdah appears to already be stepping in as a father figure to Kairo after she unexpectedly lost her dad earlier this month. On an episode DJ Zinhle revealed that Murdah paid lobola for her. So, she considered them married. However, they have not yet had a wedding. DJ Zinhle shared a cute photo of Murdah carrying Kairo.
This seemed to be from the listening party for AKA’s album Mass Country on 23 February, as DJ Zinhle also shared a video of Murdah and AKA’s mom Lynn Forbes from the event. Take a look…

“Dear Kiernan, I took a little longer than I had to write this, but to be honest I didn’t know what to say. As a fellow musician thank you bro, thank you for inspiring all of us to do better, thank you for always proving your love for music in the quality of music you created,” he wrote.
“Your catalogue will be one of the greatest catalogues of all time. As a man, I learned something very important from you, know your worth, no matter what happens in your life always know your worth,” he continued.
“As a father, you were amazing, you did it all for Kairo and that shows in the love she has inside of her. Your legacy will live on, may you rest well with the many legends we look up to. Till we meet again, Dad Motion,” he added.
