South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, confirmed her marriage to her “baby daddy” Murdah Bongz with a sweet Instagram post on Monday 8 August.
DJ ZINHLE ON MURDAH BONGZ: ‘MY HUSBAND AND I’
DJ Zinhle confirmed her marriage to “baby daddy” Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz in an Instagram post where she called him her husband. The Umlilo hitmaker and the Black Motion star welcomed baby Asante Mohosana together in September 2021. Take a look…
“My Husband and I are all for making a statement???????? ????????♀️,” she captioned the post.
This comes after she revealed that Murdah Bongz’s family came over to her house for her lobola negotiations. This is when the pair decided to refer to each other as “husband” and “wife”.
“Bongani and his family came to my mom’s house to negotiate lobola. And we decided that it should be a small thing, with just family,” she said.
DJ Zinhle also said that she loves telling people that she is married.
“I’m excited to be his wife, I’m excited to try something I never would of thought would happen for me. So now I’m married and I love telling people that,” she continued.
DJ Zinhle also has another child — seven-year-old Kairo Forbes with rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. While the musician also has another child, a son from a previous relationship.

THE DJ ON NOT WANTING TO GET MARRIED
This comes after DJ Zinhle revealed that she did not want to marry her “baby daddy” on the first season of her reality show. When she told her sister Gugu she was pregnant with Asante, she said that she will not be getting married – this was on the first season of DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected.
Ggug: “She wanted seven kids. I don’t know anymore because she’s getting older so I don’t know when she is going to get ti kid number seven”.
Zinle: “I’ve never wanted to get married, you know this”.
Gugu: “I don’t know perhaps she will reconsider marriage after the birth of her second child, but she always says she doesn’t want to get married”.
