‘Demanding attention’: DJ Zinhle on Kairo after Asante’s birth
DJ Zinhle opened up about how Kairo Forbes turned into a ‘brand new baby’ after the arrival of her sister Asante Mohosana.

South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, opened up about being a mother of two on the latest episode of her reality show which aired on BET Africa on 20 August.
DJ ZINHLE OPENS UP ABOUT BEING A MOM OF TWO
DJ Zinhle has two daughters. Her first child is Kairo Forbes, who she shares with rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. Kairo is now seven years old. She also welcomed her second daughter Asante Mohosana, with musician Murdah Bongz in September 2021.
So, her two daughters are seen on her reality show as she balances her career – as a DJ and businesswoman – and her family life. The Umlilo hitmaker opened up about Kairo has been acting since she had Asante.
“Kairo is demanding a lot of attention and time from me,” she said.
She went on to say that Kairo as turned into a “brand new baby” since Asante was born.
“Ever since the baby came. Kairo has been serving me baby! She has become a brand new baby,” she continued.
