There is growing speculation that the world’s richest man, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk met his new girlfriend Natasha Bassett through his mom Maye Musk.
DID ELON MUSK MEET NATASHA THROUGH HIS MOM?
Elon Musk was spotted grabbing lunch with his rumoured new girlfriend Natasha Bassett in St Tropez. The pair were first spotted together in February this year when Natasha was seen disembarking Musk’s private jet. Musk and Natasha are therefore rumoured to be dating for a few months.
The news of Musk’s new girlfriend comes just a few months after he expected his eighth child with Canadian musician Grimes in December. The couple welcomed their baby via surrogate and Grimes said they were back together after welcoming the baby, but the pair split up again.

SPECULATION THAT THE BILLIONAIRE’S MOM INTRODUCED HIM TO NATASHA
While the pair may only be dating for a few months it turns out they know each other for years. The Daily Mail reports that 27-year-old Natasha has been friends with Musk’s 74-year-old mom Maye since 2015.
Maye met Natasha and her mom in September 2015. She posted a sweet comment on Natasha’s Instagram account saying how much she enjoyed meeting the actress and her mom Jenny.
“Lovely meeting you both,” she wrote on Instagram.
So, there is speculation that the billionaire’s mom was actually the one to introduce him to the Australian actress. Natasha was photos excitedly chatting to Maye at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her new film Elvis.
The actress is believed to have taken Maye as her plus one to the premiere, according to Hollywood Life.
“Elon and Natasha are still going strong and over time Natasha has developed a solid bond with his mother Maye,” said a source to the publication.
