Tol Ass Mo revealed on Podcast and Chill with MacG and Sol that the TV show in question was Master Chef. A statement released by Moloi in 2020 revealed that the incident took place in 2014.

After the court found the Mo and Mome star innocent in August 2022, he announced that he is suing Moloi for slander and defamation as the court described her as “a dishonest, egotistical and a belligerent liar.”

‘IT COULD’VE BEEN HIS DARK AURA THAT RAPED ME’

During his interview on the YouTube podcast, Tol Ass Mo — who was accompanied by his wife Mome Nale Mahlangu — spoke at length about the rape case.

The Bump The Cheese Up hitmaker shared the graphic details of Moloi’s statement which resulted in him facing two counts of rape and one count of sexual harassment that would have led to 35 years to life behind bars.

According to Tol Ass Mo, a few things saved him, including his alibi. When Moloi was asked when the rape took place, she said 18 March in the evening. However, he had been on a flight back to Johannesburg from Cape Town that morning, according to a picture on his Instagram.

Additionally, Moloi had told the court that they had been shooting the burger stack challenge on the day the incident happened.

“They’ve got a TV in the court so they played MasterChef. Episode one, I am there. Episode two, eliminated… the burger stack challenge was on episode five,” the comedian told the Podcast and Chill hosts, adding that episodes three to five were played and he was not on any of them.

“So, ‘Lerato [Moloi] who was the person that raped you if this person is clearly not there?’ Guess what this woman says? She says it could have been my dark aura,” Tol Ass Mo told MacG and Sol.
