Costa Titch’s mother is begging for help to fastrack the toxicology test results on the late amapiano star.
The pint-size star – real name Costantinos Tsobanoglou – died on 11 March after suddenly collapsing on stage. The rapper was performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg.
But according to various social media posts, his mother suspects foul play over his death. A cause of death has yet to be established.

COSTA TITCH’S MOM: ‘IF SOMEONE POISONED MY SON’…
On Tuesday, 23 May, Costa Titch’s mom shared a telling Instagram post from his official account.
The woman – nicknamed “Mama Titch” – shared her heartbreak that she had not received closure over the 28-year-old’s death.

She captioned a pic of him: “The National Health Laboratory Services can take months or even years to finalise toxicology tests. This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers.
But the words took on a desperate tone as Mama Titch not only begged for help but expressed her suspicions on how he died.
She continued: “It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder. I’m pleading for help to get answers as even the police cannot do anything without these medical results”.
It’s not the first time Costa Titch’s mom has vented on his account. A few weeks after the star’s death, the grieving mom shared: “I promise you, my son, that I will not rest until I find out what happened to you.”
CAUSE OF DEATH?
A few days after his death, Costa Titch’s family revealed that he had been laid to rest in a private funeral service. Along with his private funeral, the family have remained mum on the cause of death.
According to South African law, a post-mortem examination or autopsy determines the cause of death following an unnatural death.

“The autopsy is done at a Forensic Pathology Laboratory in the area where the death took place. The pathology medical practitioner will issue a death certificate, and the body will be released for burial once the autopsy has been completed”, reads a government directive.
According to Weekend Argus, Costa suffered a seizure brought on by flashing lights on stage. The publication claimed that the hitmaker had a history of epilepsy.

However, conflicting reports from Lowvelder claim that the family of Costa has disputed this.
