RIP Cooper Noriega: Family speaks out on 19-year-old TikTok star’s death

The family of 19-year-old Cooper Noriega, who boosts two million followers on Instagram, have spoken out on his death.

The family of 19-year-old TikTok star Cooper Noriega have spoken out on his death via social media posts on Saturday 11 June.

COOPER’S SISTER THANKS HIS FANS

The body of TikTok star Cooper Noreiga was found at an LA-area mall on 9 June according to TMZ – a day after he posted a video about dying “young af” on TikTok. He has a whopping two million followers on the video sharing platform.

Cooper left behind his parents Treva and Harold Noriega and his 24-year-old sister Parker. Parker took to his Instagram account to post a thank you message to his fans and followers.

“Hi everyone. on behalf of our family we want to thank you all for the kind words of our little coop. his passing is an absolute tragedy to our family and loved ones,” she wrote on his Instagram page.

“We pray that we all as a community can continue on his legacy. He loved each and everyone of you. Please feel free to reach out to us as we love feeling all the support. Bless you all… with love, his sister,” she continued.

HAROLD NORIEGA SPEAKS ON HIS SON’S DEATH 

Cooper’s father Harold also took to social media to speak about his son’s death via a Facebook post. He said that it has been a difficult time as they lost their son.

“I want to thank each of you for all of your special birthday wishes. They mean so much to me. I also want to share with you that today has been an incredibly difficult time for my family and me. We lost our beautiful 19 year old Cooper last evening,” he wrote.

He went on to say that he was loved by many and mentioned his attempts to help people who struggle with mental health.

“He was loved by so many and truly the love of Treva’s, Parker’s and my life. There are no words to express the grief and loss. It’s not supposed to be this way. Your child is not supposed to pass before his parents,” he continued.

“Cooper has touched so many people. He recently started a chat on Discord which grew to thousands for those to have a safe place to talk about mental health. My boy was a believer and I know he is in the presence of God. Thank you everyone. I love you all,” he added.
