South African rapper Refiloe Maele Phoolo, popularly known as Cassper Nyovest spent R.1.5 million rand on an early birthday gift for himself, as seen on Instagram on 24 November. 


Cassper Nyovest showed off a £70 000 (R1.5 million) diamond chain he gifted himself as an early birthday gift. The rapper celebrates his 31st birthday on 16 December. 

“New chain alert. Early birthday Gift. Dropped 70 000 pounds ???? not Rands. It’s been a good year!!! Don Billiato!!! #BilliatoATasteOfWealth,” the post was captioned. 

Fans of the big spender hyped him up in the comments section of the post. 

“Should’ve said approximately R1 500 000 so it hits harder for those hating ????,” wrote @yunity. 

“Now I remember why Casper actually ruled hip pop at some point,” wrote @vi.nn_y.

“I just converted it to ZAR, I can’t breathe,” wrote @omphemetse_lenamile.

The Mama I Made It hitmaker’s new spoil comes after the SARS served him with a letter of demand to settle his overdue amount of his record label within 10 business days.

“The fault is not with Sars problem for me it starts with the education because you go to school and you don’t get taught about tax and you are supposed to and then one day they send you a letter to say ‘bro you are owing’,” said the rapper previously on an episode of Dinner At Somizi’s.

Last year Cassper gifted himself a new Bentley to mark his 30th birthday. 

“I’m turning 30 today and I had to get myself something special that I will always remember.  A big shout out to the race for hooking this up for me and making sho its done for my birthday. Officially part of the #Mansoryclub . It’s #BentleyBoys forever,” he captioned the post. 

The rapper also gifted his one-year-old son a mini Bentley for his first birthday — “Bentley Boys Club.”
