According to the publication, Camilla invited her stepson Prince William’s rumoured mistress Rose Hanbury to the royal coronation.

Even though the Queen Consort has been accepted into the royal family after being King Charles’ mistress for years, her reputation has always somewhat been tarnished.

Since rumours of a possible split between the Prince and Princess of Wales have flared up again, Camilla is reportedly trying to make Hanbury feel more at home within the family.

The publication reports that Hanbury will be formally invited to the coronation. Camilla reportedly wants Hanbury to play a significant role at the event, even if it is on an equal footing as Kate.

Over the past few years, and since her marriage to King Charles III, Camilla has played an integral role in the royal family. According to Buckingham Palace, apart from being King Charles’ confidant and stepmother to William and Harry, she’s also the Patron or President of over 90 charities.

Now, the Queen Consort is preparing for her most significant role yet. That of Queen.  Although her official title will still be Queen Consort, Camilla will be referred to as Queen Camilla, according to a report by The Sun.

When Charles and Camilla tied the knot in 2005, the title seemed highly unlikely. But, it all changed at the end, it seems.

In a message marking the 70th anniversary of her reign, the late Queen Elizabeth said that it’s her “most sincere wish that, when the time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” Time reports..

This was the first time Queen Elizabeth acknowledged Camilla’s role in the monarchy in such a significant way. King Charles thanked his mother for her support, saying:

“We are deeply conscious of the honor represented by my mother’ wish. As we have sought together to serve and support Her Majesty and the people of our communities, my darling wife has been my own steadfast support throughout,” Time reports.

The publication explains that the Queen Consort title is given to the king’s wife. Although she married into the royal family, she could never inherit the throne.
