American singer Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari reportedly signed a prenup in her favour according to a report by Page Six on Monday 13 June.

Britney Spears officially married her fiancé Sam Asghari in an intimate wedding on Thursday 9 June. Although Britney did not invite her family, her famous friends Madonna, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore were in attendance.

People reports that the singer walked down the aisle in a Versace gown. Sam’s manager was ecstatic about the pair’s union.

“I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way,” Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen said to People.

“I am so grateful to have Sam in my life and can’t wait for the future they will build together,” he continued.

The singer’s ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash wedding. The wedding came just after the singer announced she suffered a miscarriage early in her pregnancy.

Page Six reports that the couple signed a prenup that was in favour of Britney.

“Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favour. Any money she made before the wedding is protected,” said a source to Page Six.

Sam previously joked about wanting a prenup to protect his ride and shoe collection if the Toxic hitmaker tried to leave him.

“Of course we’re getting [an] iron-clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection incase [sic] she dumps me one day,” joked Sam on his Instagram.

Britney has reportedly been planning her wedding since the engagement.

“Britney started planning and dreaming about her wedding shortly after she got engaged in November,” said an insider to People.

“It’s a huge deal to her that she is finally able to get married. She wants it to be perfect,” the insider continued.
