Brings home the bacon? Nick Cannon makes R1.8 billion a year

American TV host Nick Cannon revealed that he makes a whopping $100 million (R1.8 billion) a year in an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Sunday 7 May — here’s a look at all his sources of income.

NICK CANNON REVEALS HE MAKES R1.8 BILLION A YEAR

Many have wondered how much money Nick Cannon must make to afford supporting 11 kids. Well, The Sun reported that the Masked Singer host pays an estimated R56 million ($3 million) a year in child support. However, he refuted the claim. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, he revealed that it is not a lot of money and he has to make about R1.8 billion ($100 million) a year to afford his lifestyle.

So, he was then asked if he made $100 million a year to which he responded:

“Yeah… everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money. I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10 — times three. Because he does a lot.”

So, how does Cannon make $100 million annually?

• He hosts two seasons a year of Masked Singer making him R378 million $20 million.
• The father of 12 also hosts Wildin’ Out, a show he created which starts filming it’s 21st season this year. He also owns a live nation Wildin’ Out arena along with themed sports bars in San Diego and Miami.
• Cannon is currently in Dublin shooting Fox’s guess-the-lyrics game show Beat Shazam. This was a fill-in gig after the show’s host and Cannon’s mentor Jamie Foxx was hospitalised in April with an undisclosed illness.
• He stars alongside comedian Kevin Hart in E!’s Celebrity Prank Wars.
• The TV host also shot Counsel Culture — an all-male version of The View.
• He also has Future Superstar Tour airing this year — a filmed version of the recently wrapped live tour where the TV host showcases up-and-coming talent.
• Cannon also starred in Hollywood Heist alongside Alec Baldwin.
• He also hosts a podcast titled The Daily Cannon along with one of his “baby mamas” Abby de la Rosa and Mason Moussette.
• The TV host also owns Ncredible — an entertainment company which has about six musicians signed to him.
• There is also a romance novel in the pipeline.

THE 12 KIDS AND ‘BABY MAMAS’

• A pair of twins Moroccan and Monroe with iconic pop artist Mariah Carey. 
• Three children with model Britney Bell – Golden Sagon (5), Powerful Queen (2) and their new baby Rise Messiah – who was born in September 2022.
• Also three children with Abby de la Rosa – a pair of twins named Zion and Zillion (1) and a baby girl named, Beautiful, who was born in November 2022.
• Two children with model Alyssa Scott – Zen, who tragically passed away in December 2021 and a baby girl named Halo born on 14 December 2022.
• A baby boy named Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi, who was born in June 2022. 
• Baby girl Onyx with film producer LaNisha Cole, who was born on 14 September 2022.
