Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that he felt that he is being forced out of Manchester United by senior executives. He admitted to feeling “betrayed” by the way he was treated.

So, he feels as though he is not wanted on the theme.

“Honestly, I shouldn’t say that… don’t know… But listen I don’t care, I’m always… People should listen to the truth. Yes, I feel betrayed and I feel that some people don’t want me here, not only this year but last year, too,” he said.

He also revealed that he felt “hurt” and “bad” after returning late to pre-season training earlier this year. This was after his three month old daughter Bella was hospitalised. The football star lost Bella’s twin brother at birth.

“My 3-month-old daughter was hospitalised in July, that is why I could not return for pre-season and I felt hurt because senior executives at Manchester United doubted me,” he said.

The football star expressed that his relationship with Manchester United manager Ten Hag is broken. The Mirror reports that Hag has decided that Ronaldo’s days as a regular starter are for the team are cover

The football star said that he has no respect for Hag due to the way he was treated this season.

“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you,” he said.

After Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute during the match against Tottenham, many criticised the football star. Former team-mate Wayne Rooney was one of those many, he called Ronaldo’s behaviour an “unwanted distraction”.

The football star took an aim at Rooney for retiring.

“I don’t know why he criticises me so badly. Probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at high level. I’m not going to say that I’m looking better than him. Which is true,” he said.
