American singers Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford’s response to criticism about the age gap has backfired.
The couple, who has an 11-year gap with Billie being 20 years old and Jesse, 31, dressed up as a baby and an old man for Halloween — further causing a stir.

HALLOWEEN CONSTUMES
Billie Eilish and Jesse hit back at the comments about their age gap when they decided to channel a baby and an old man for Halloween.
In photos shared by Pop Crave, Billie is dressed up as a baby, complete with a diaper and bonnet, while Jesse sported a bald cap and wrinkled prosthetics.

TWEEPS LABEL THE IDEA ‘CREEPY’
Although the couple has not commented on their Halloween outfits, fans are not impressed with them.
“Billie is grown enough to know how weird and creepy this is btw [by the way]” one tweep wrote.
“Idk [I don’t know] if jesse rutherford realizes this but dressing up in a costume that makes fun of his grooming accusations is exactly what a groomer would do,” one fan wrote.
While another fan wrote: “Billie Eilish and Jessie Rutherford’s matching Halloween costumes is incredibly sick and twisted – especially with their age difference and power imbalance. It’s not funny or chic, its not poking fun, it’s disturbing, and the adults in her life are letting her down once again.”

According to the Daily Mail, Billie Eilish and Jesse sparked dating rumours when they were spotted by a fan at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights earlier last month.
In a reel shared on TikTok, the two musicians were seen holding hands.
Two weeks ago, the Everything I Wanted hitmaker and The Neighbourhood band member were spotted enjoying a dinner date together at a popular LA restaurant called Crossroads Kitchen. The couple also shared a kiss following another recent dinner date at Studio City restaurant La Mirch.
A source told Hollywood Life that Billie’s brother Finneas and Jesse go way back, which is why there are pictures of the Daddy Issues musician at her 16th birthday party.
