Baby Asante: DJ Zinhle shares first pictures of her newborn [photos]
DJ Zinhle shared the first pictures of her newborn, baby Asante along with the first look at Kairo Forbes as a big sister!

South African DJ and businesswoman Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known by her stage name DJ Zinhle, shared the first pictures of her newborn baby Asante via Instagram on Saturday 25 September.

DJ Zinhle and Black Motion’s Murdah Bongz reportedly welcomed their first child together on 8 September. DJ Zinhle reportedly had a c-section and returned home with baby Asante that weekend.
“She has been blessed (with) another girl and she could not be happier,” said a source to Sunday World at the time.
“She is indeed living her dream, she has always wanted to have a big family, Zinhle has always been responsible and knew what she wanted out of life,” said another source to Sunday World.
DJ Zinhle did not confirm she actually gave birth at the time. However, she dropped several hints via her Instagram posts and stories. On Saturday (25 September) the Era by DJ Zinhle owner shared the first pictures of her baby on Instagram, in partnership with baby and toddler brand Pampers.

“Here’s nothing more rewarding than bringing new life into the world ????????@murdahbongz and I are so grateful and beyond blessed. Welcome baby @asantewithlove ???????? I am complete ❤️ Photography: @kistphotography,” wrote the DJ on Instagram.
Many celebrities took to the comments section to show love to the DJ and her new baby.
“Bathong????????????????????????????????????!!! Congratulations Mama,” wrote social media star Lasizwe Dambuza.
“Already working. Love to see it,”wrote medical doctor and entertainer Musa Mthombeni.
“So precious,” wrote television presenter Pearl Modiadie.
KAIRO IS LOVING BEING A BIG SISTER
The Umlilo hitmaker’s first born Kairo Forbes, who she had with rapper AKA is already loving being a big sister. In a post on baby Asante’s Instagram page, which is controlled by DJ Zinhle, Kairo is seen carrying her new sibling.
“Having a sister is like having a friend who will be there for life,” read the caption.
“I’m so happy that you’re finally here! ❤️,” commented Kairo Forbes whose Instagram account is run by AKA’s mom, Lynn “Glammy” Forbes.
Lynn Forbes is also seen in the entrepreneur’s reality show DJ Zinhle: Unexpected. In the first episode of the show the DJ opened up about how she felt when she was dragged into AKA’s late fiancee, Nelli Tembe’s death. Nelli Tembe plunged to her death from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town while on a weekend away with AKA.
