‘One week married to my best friend’: Anlia gushes over Etzebeth

One week after actress and singer Anlia van Rensburg tied the knot on Saturday 4 February at the La Paris estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape — she gushed over her husband Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth via an Instagram post.

THE ACTRESS GUSHES OVER HUSBAND

Anlia van Rensburg gushed over her husband Eben Etzebeth via an Instagram post on Sunday 12 February. She stated that being married to her best friend for a week has been “everything”.

“1 week married to my best friend!! That’s EVERYTHING!❤️,” she wrote when translated to English.

The actress and Etzebeth met in Melkbosstrand, a coastal village north of Cape Town, in October 2021 – according to The Citizen. Just five months later, the Springbok player popped the question and the singer said yes! 

Etzebeth revealed that he and another Springbok player – Frans Malherbe were getting married this Saturday 4 February – speaking at a press conference at SARU House, SA Rugby’s headquarters in Plattekloof, Cape Town.

“Siya is at my wedding and Scarra (Ntubeni) at his. I told Siya and Scarra they have to video call each other at some stage during the evening and then just give the phones to me and Frans to we can congratulate each other,” he said.
