New AmaZulu signing: Sandile Zungu and wife expecting first baby

Congratulations are in order for AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu and his wife who are expecting their first baby together.

BABY ON BOARD FOR SANDILE ZUNGU AND HIS WIFE

According to Zimoja, Nozipho Magubane, who the businessman’s wife, is pregnant.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands in June last year. According to Sunday World, the glitzy wedding was attended by A-list celebrities, politicians, and businesspeople, including billionaire CAF boss Patrice Motsepe.

ZUNGU’S CHILDREN AND LATE WIFE

Zungu’s first wife, Zodwa Zungu, sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2016. The couple had been married for 25 years when she passed. Together, they have four children; sons Mfundo, Lwazi, Vuyo and a daughter named Sinenjabulo.

Mfundo, who is his oldest son, is the non-executive director of AmaZulu FC, while Sinenjabulo is the executive director and incumbent CEO of the football club.

FAILED ENGAGEMENT TO ‘RHOD’ STAR SLEE NDLOVU

During the first episode of RHOD season three, new edition Slee Ndlovu spoke candidly about her failed engagement to the Mangosuthu University of Technology’s (MUT) chancellor. After her marriage to the father of her kids ended in 2014, Slee dated Zungu in 2016. This was after his wife’s passing.

In an interview with Daily Sun, the mom-of-two revealed that Zungu proposed to her in 2019. During their relationship, she took care of his kids and ran his businesses including the Zunguness Foundation which was launched by his late wife.

“We had a minor argument and he said he doesn’t trust me anymore. He stormed out of our home but I didn’t take it seriously. I actually laughed because the fight wasn’t even serious. I waited for him to come back but he didn’t,” Slee told the publication.

“Instead, he dumped me and married another woman,” she added.

Zungu has been mum about his relationship with Slee.
