One of the clips shows movie star Alec Baldwin rehearsing as he pulls the gun that resulted in the death of his colleague.

Investigators are also seen arriving at the scene as they try to make sense of what had transpired.

In another video, the actor is questioned by the police about the incident. During the questioning, Baldwin denies pulling the trigger and says he does not know how live ammunition ended up in the gun. According to the New York Times, a report released on Monday 25 April, included new information about the case. This includes a report of a phone call that one investigator, Detective Alexandria Hancock, had on 3 November with Baldwin.

A sheriff also revealed that more evidence was still missing, including firearm and ballistic forensics from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition, DNA and latent fingerprint analysis, a report from the New Mexico Medical Examiner’s office and the analysis of Baldwin’s phone data would still be looked at.

The actor voluntarily handed his phone in to the police in January.

The publication further reported that last week, New Mexico state regulators blamed the producers of the movie for the shooting instead of Baldwin.

They found that the film management’s indifference to the dangers involved in handling guns on set had led to the death of Hutchins. In light of this, they issued a $136 793 (R2.1 million) penalty on the production company, which is the maximum allowed under state law.
