FIREARM, GETAWAY VEHICLE, AIRTIME SLIP

Last week, City Press reported that police had made a breakthrough in their investigation into the slain media personalities’ murders.

According to the publication, investigators recovered the firearm and getaway vehicle that was used in the murders as one of the suspects had not complied with an order to get rid of them. An airtime slip that one of the suspected killers used to call his girlfriend and the person who ordered the hit was also found.

A source said that the “suspect has been strategically charged with other offences as the investigators build a strong case around them.”

In addition, it is believed that police were looking into one of AKA’s close associates and several people suspected of being involved in orchestrating or planning the Company hitmaker’s murder are under police surveillance.

At the time, provincial police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda said that this is a complicated case, and they need space and time to do their work.
