‘Ohana means family’: Lynn Forbes shares pic with Zinhle, Murdah

Lynn Forbes, the mom of late rapper AKA, shared a sweet photo of DJ Zinhle, Murdah Bongz, Kairo Forbes, ex-husband Tony Forbes and sister Trudy Reed van Wyk on Instagram on Friday 3 March.

LYNN FORBES: ‘OHANA MEANS FAMILY’

Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA’s was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. DJ Zinhle welcomed her first child Kairo Forbes in 2015 with AKA. In 2021, she welcomed her second child, Asante Mohosana, with musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz.

AKA’s mom Lynn shared a sweet family photo with DJ Zinhle and Murdah along with Kairo, Tony and sister Trudy on Instagram on Friday 3 March. In the caption, she spoke about family. Take a look…

“Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. My wish is for every person out there to experience a family like ours …. it’s all love over here ❤️ We are blessed 🙏🏽,” she wrote.

DJ ZINHLE SHARED SWEET PHOTO OF MURDAH AND KAIRO

Murdah appears to already be stepping in as a father figure to Kairo after she unexpectedly lost her dad in February. On an episode DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected, she revealed that Murdah paid lobola for her. So, she considered them married. However, they have not yet had a wedding. DJ Zinhle shared a cute photo of Murdah carrying Kairo.
