Lynn Forbes, the mom of slain rapper AKA, took to Instagram on Thursday 27 April, to praise DJ Zinhle’s “husband” Murdah Bongz for stepping up to be an exceptional step father to her granddaughter Kairo Forbes.

LYNN FORBES PRAISES MURDAH BONGZ: ‘IT TAKES A REAL MAN’
Kairo is the daughter of South African DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, and rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA. AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
AKA moved on from DJ Zinhle with Anele “Nelli” Tembe, who tragically plunged to her death from the tenth floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town on 11 April 2021. DJ Zinhle later began dating musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz in 2020. In 2021, the DJ welcomed her second child named Asante Mohosana with Murdah Bongz. AKA began dating rapper Nadia Nakai in December 2021.
Following AKA’s death, Murdah Bongz has been “step dad goals” to Kairo. Lynn Forbes has been praised for her relationship with both DJ Zinhle and Nadia. Taking to Instagram on Thursday 27 April, she praised Murdah Bongz for being a “real man”.
“It takes a real man 🙏🏽❤️,” she captioned the post of Murdah with Kairo and Asante in the pool on their family vacation.
This comes after Lynn praised the musician in her interview with eNCA.

MURDAH BONGZ SHOWS DJ ZINHLE AND KAIRO LOVE
The former Black Motion star alsotook to Instagram to show Zinhle and Kairo some love sharing photos of them posing in the pool.
