In a video posted on his Instagram Stories, AKA bragged about successfully bagging a cannabis card.

Pictured outside a pharmaceutical dispensary, AKA is seen saying: “I’ve got my medicinal cannabis ID card which makes me the 60th person registered under the act [Medicines and Related Substances Act].

“Today I am going to be getting my first order. The day has arrived”.

He also posted a pic on his feed with the caption: “A journey starts with a single step”.

It’s unclear what medical conditions AKA is using the drug for, although many followers speculated it may be depression

Last year, the rapper claimed he had shunned taking anti-depressants after being diagnosed with clinical depression.

He shared in November 2021 via his IG Stories: “I need to let this be known, especially for so many people out there fighting every day. I was diagnosed with clinical depression many, many months ago.

“I was put on meds but couldn’t handle them. They made me feel like I couldn’t feel anything so I got off them. Plus my whole job is to feel.”
