‘He is now debating God’: Tributes following Eusebius’ death

Messages of condolences are pouring in following the untimely passing of well-known author, broadcaster and political analyst Eusebius McKaiser died on Tuesday, 30 May.

MANAGER CONFIRMS EUSEBIUS MCKAISER’S PASSING
According to TimesLIVE, his passing was confirmed by manager, Jackie Strydom.
“Unfortunately, I can confirm that it is true. He died earlier this afternoon in Joburg,” Strydom said.
She told the publication that Eusebius was not ill, but however died from a suspected epileptic seizure.
“It all happened so quickly. His partner Nduduzo Nyanda is at the mortuary with his family,” said Strydom.
“I am so distraught. I can’t believe this,” she said.

MESSAGES OF CONDOLENCES
Friends, political parties, colleagues and fans have been paying tribute and relaying their messages of condolences.
“If there is a Heaven, Eusebius McKaiser is now debating God on many issues, and winning almost every argument. Rest in power dude,” activist Roscoe Palm wrote.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) wrote: “The DA extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of political analyst and broadcaster, Eusebius McKaiser. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time. Eusebius will be remembered for his robust political commentary.”
His former employer, 702, wrote: “We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of renowned journalist and former 702 presenter Eusebius McKaiser.Our thoughts and condolences go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.May his soul rest in peace.”
SABC news anchor, Iman Rappetti, said: “To move a life you loved from present to past is one of life’s greatest cruelties. Eusebius McKaiser I am struggling to comprehend that your form is taking another.”
