Brad Pitt responds to Angelina Jolie’s abuse allegations

Brad Pitt’s lawyer says Brad has owned up to everything he is responsible for, something Angelina Jolie has failed to do.

Angelina Jolie‘s ex-husband Brad Pitt has responded to her allegations that he was abusive towards her and their children. Brad said that he will ‘respond in court’ to the allegations.

Brad released a statement through his lawyer Anne Kiley and said that he was a ‘victim of personal attack[s] and misrepresentation’.

According to the Daily Mail, Brad’s lawyer said the actor “has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one, unlike the other side, but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do”.

Angelina is reported to have claimed in the court documents she filed that Brad was verbally and physically abusive towards his family on a plane in September 2016.

Brad’s representative is alleged to have told The Hollywood Reporter that the actress “continues to rehash, revise and reimagine her description of an event that happened 6 years ago by adding completely untrue information each time she fails to get what she wants. Her story is constantly evolving.”

The Daily Mail added that sources close to Brad claim that his ex-wife’s actions have taken an ‘extreme toll’ on their children and this has severely damaged their relationship with their father.

“The children have a ‘limited and strained relationship, because of her campaign of alienation.”

The FBI previously investigated Angelina’s claims regarding Brad’s alleged violent behaviour on the plane about but he was not charged because of insufficient evidence – the Daily Mail reported.

Angelina is said to have filed for divorce five days after the alleged incident.

The mother of six is also alleged to have tried to stop Brad from having custody over their children.

Brad has accused Angelina of planning a ‘hostile’ takeover of the wine business that he says he ‘carefully built’ and forced him into partnership with ‘a stranger with poisonous associations and intentions’.
