For many South African celebrities, cars are the ultimate symbol of real wealth. For instance, Cassper Nyovest recently trended for a few days after purchasing a McLaren while Andile Mpisane spoiled himself with a Maybach. World champ Tyson Fury, however, doesn’t seem to care about all of that after he swapped his Rolls Royce for a VW Passat!

VW vs Rolls Royce: Tyson Fury swaps luxury for simplicity

British boxing champion Tyson Fury is known for his amazing boxing skills and ability to knock someone’s lights out. He is also known for doing all sorts of weird and wonderful things that showcase his comical and down-to-earth side.

Despite having a net worth of over $30 million, Tyson doesn’t appear to be moved by the same things that get a typical celebrity going.

Here in SA, the first thing a celeb does when they get some cash is splash it on a ridiculously expensive car, Tyson proved that he certainly doesn’t roll like that.

“There she goes, my beloved Rolls Royce Cullinan! Fair play, goodbye forever. Now, there’s my car these days, 56 plate Passat diesel,” he says in the clip.
