Bonang has seemingly taken a shady swipe at her personal assistant – and many think it has everything to do with her cousin Tebogo Mekgwe aka Pinky Girl.

According to tweeps,  the media personality reportedly has a gripe with members of her inner circle, who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

BONANG GOES ON A RANT – BUT WHO IS SHE TALKING ABOUT?

Taking to her Twitter account on Monday, 23 January, Bonang revealed that she was looking to hire a new PA. She also revealed the potential candidate needed to be fully vaccinated.

But in doing so, tweeps claimed the media mogul fired indirect shots at Pinky Girl instead.

She tweeted: “I need to find a new PA with a visa to join the team. Wtf is happening kante? Missing out on trips around the world because you’re unvaccinated. Ridiculous”

When one tweep reminded her that she already has a PA,  Bonang replied: “…she has a visa but isn’t vaccinated!”.

But despite commentary that Bonang was subtweeting Pinky Girl, it was previously revealed that the duo – once joined by the hip – professional parted in 2018.

Speaking to Move Magazine, she said: “I quit when my colleagues realised I was related to Bonang. Some started acting awkward. My female colleagues gave me a hard time.

“Some even called me Bonang’s handbag because I was always with her, and they said all I do is hang around her.”

Pinky Girl has since pursued her career as a TV presenter and DJ in the entertainment industry.

CAN EMPLOYERS NOT HIRE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR ANTI-VAX STANCE?

According to the South African Department of Labour, employers are encouraged to “find a reasonable resolution that accommodates all parties” if employees refuse to be vaccinated.

However, it seems that in the case of Bonang, being vaccinated is part and parcel of her new PA’s job, as they would be required to travel abroad.

When asked which country B and her PA would be visiting that would require the latter’s vaccination certificate, the star replied: “The United States of America.”
