Magwinyas are a staple food for many people in South Africa. This is mainly because it is both cheap and easy to make.

The fried dough can be filled with just about anything — from mince to jam. Most locals prefer eating it with a slice of French colony and some atchaar.

A young boy has gone viral online after it was revealed that he is selling magwinyas at his school for R8.
