Bring back Black Motion? Tweeps think the ‘Joy Joy’ hitmakers should reunite after a clip of Murdah Bongz crying on stage surfaced online.

South African social media users were left truly taken aback after a clip of Murdah Bongz crying on stage mid performance was shared online. In the clip, the musician can be seen breaking down and then trying to dry his eyes in a towel.

The clip has touched the hearts of many of his fans who suggested that the music he was playing was so powerful it reduced him to tears. Others have speculated that he may be missing his former Black Motion member Thabo Mabogwane.

Tweeps think Murdah Bongz misses Black Motion

Many were left shocked when music duo Black Motion announced that they were splitting. The dynamic group consisted of Murdah Bongz (Robert Mahosana) and Thabo Mabogwane.

The multi-award winning duo are famous for songs such as Joy Joy and Uwrongo.

In 2022, rumours that the pair were splitting up proved to be true after Murdah shared court documents regarding a feud over studio equipment with Thabo.

And now fans believe he may be missing his “brother” after he was recording crying during a recent performance.

Mzansi wants a reunion

Many appear to believe that a reunion would make things right for Murdah who clearly has something on his chest.

“He must swallow his pride and re-connect with his friend,” said one tweeps. Another wrote:

“The guy misses Black Motion for real🥺”

Others have however said that the music must have just moved him during the set.

“People needs to understand that he did not leave the group based on beef/dissatisfaction or whatnot, he said it was high time he moved alone and it was a business move… remember this is the song that placed the black motion on the map”
