Angela Renée White better known by her stage name “Blac Chyna” is thrilled that her trial date against the Kardashian-Jenner family has been moved to October 2021.

The trial was scheduled to begin this year on 29 November but has now been moved to 18 October. Blac Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani told Page Six that the model is thrilled about the trial taking place sooner than expected.

The legal documents show that both parties are open to mediation prior to the start of the trial. The post-mediation status hearing is set for 26 July.

The trial is expected to take place over the course of 10 days. Blac Chyna, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, NBCUniversal exec Francis Berwick, WME agent Lance Klein, attorney Walter Mosley, Bunim/Murray executives, and other NBCUniversal and E! Executives are expected to take the stand.

Back in 2017, Chyna sued the entire Kardashian-Jenner family over claims of assault, battery, domestic violence, defamation and interference with prospective economic relation to the cancellation of her reality series with Rob Kardashian, Rob and Chyna which aired on E! in 2016.

The Kardashian-Jenner family’s attorney, Marty Singer previously said that the show was cancelled because the former couple split, denying Chyna’s claims.

However, earlier this year three appellate judges agreed with the ruling of the trial judge that Blac Chyna had submitted substantial evidence supporting the claims of both defamation and economic interference against Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.  Kourtney Kardashian reportedly was dismissed from lawsuit.

Evidence that was found backed up the Chyna’s claim that Kris Jenner had lied when she said that Chyna had beaten the s*** out of Rob Kardashian’s face and she then used the lie to get the show cancelled according to Page Six.

“The evidence in our case overwhelmingly establishes that the claims filed by Blac Chyna are without merit, and we look forward to a jury trial to dispose of these meritless claims,” said Marty Singer to Page Six.

In December, Chyna won her first legal victory in the case when a judge ordered the production company behind the show to hand in any unaired footage that would of been used for the second season of the show. This footage reportedly showed that Chyna and Rob were working on their relationship and co-parentings their daughter, Dream Kardashian.

However, the Kardashian-Jenner ffamily’s attorney said that the footage had no impact on the case.

“We have not filed an opposition to the court for this request because the footage has no impact on the case. However, we have requested Blac Chyna’s OnlyFans footage, and she has refused to release that footage to us,” said Singer.
