‘Something small’: RHOD’s Londie London spoils son rotten on first b-day

Musician and Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) season 2 star Londie London went all out for her baby boy Uminathi Nkosi’s first birthday celebration at their stunning home in Durban this week.

We were first introduced to little Umi on the third episode of RHOD season 2 when his mother, Londie London, hosted a sip and see. The event was to essentially to introduce the musician’s son to her close friends and family. This was also when Londie revealed his face on his official Instagram account @umi_nkosi.

Fast-forward to this week when his mom and dad through him a birthday party, celebrating one year since his grand entry into the world.

Londie London, on her Instagram, shared a video of her son’s big day. The video shows the Nomakanjani singer and her fiancé, Hlubi Nkosi, treating their little man to an intimate birthday party.

From the cute and colourful décor to his three tier Disney cake and his new Dolce & Gabbana outfit, Umi’s parents made sure to pull out all the stops for him.

“My baby turned 1 the other day ????❤️. We did something small for him as a family to show him what a true blessing he is in our lives,” Londie London captioned the video.

LONDIE LONDON ON RHOD SEASON 2

When Londie London (real name Londiwe Zulu) was announced as one of the newest cast members of RHOD,  her named topped the trends list. If you were familiar with her Instagram posts even prior to the show you’d understand why viewers were excited: luxury and opulence are a big part of her lifestyle. And these are major criteria for the show.

Londie was not a stranger to some cast members when she arrived into the scene. In fact, Annaesthetic Beauty Studio owner Annie Mthembu claimed that they were close friends. However, the mom-of-one painted a different picture. During one of Londie’s confessionals, she denied being as close to Annie, simply saying they “hang out”.

On the other hand, viewers were crossing their fingers that the singer gets along with returning cast member and businesswoman Nonkanyiso LaConco Conco. According to viewers, a friendship between the two ladies could be just as great as LaConco’s friendship with former cast member Ayanda Ncwane. And so far, Londie and LaConco have not taken their claws out for each other.

Another thing that has stood out for viewers about the Londie is style. She has definitely been bring the fashion this season and we’re excited for more.
