In January 2022, Minister of Police Bheki Cele made headlines after entertainment blogger Musa Khawula claimed his daughter was partying without any underwear on. However, Cele later denied that this was actually his daughter, he revealed the woman just shares the same name as his daughter.

BHEKI CELE’S DRAGGED OVER ‘DAUGHTER’ PARTYING WITHOUT UNDERWEAR

Bheki Cele was trolled on Twitter after a video of a woman named Khumbuza Cele partying at Coco nightclub went viral. This was believed to be Cele’s daughter because the woman shared the same name as the Minister of Police’s daughter.

“Bheki Cele spotted at Coco night club in Cape Town where his daughter Khumbuza Cele was celebrating her 24th birthday,” read the tweet that is no longer available after Musa Khawula’s Twitter account is inactive.

The video caused a stir on Twitter because Tweeps felt it was hypocritical of Cele to address alcohol constantly, even throw some away while his daughter was partying at a club. Tweeps also noticed that she was not wearing any underwear. So, they began to drag the Minister of Police on Twitter.

TWEEPS: ‘NO CLASS AT ALL’

Take a look at what Tweeps had to say…

“No class at all. Did someone tag Bheki Cele?” wrote @lindsaymanthey.

“Her father as’katlore tlwaela masepa ….how can he judge us for alcohol while her daughter is also drinking at night clubs without ipanty,” wrote @Karabo_Thc.

Some Tweeps did not think this was Cele’s daughter – but others thought it was too much of a coincidence for him to be there if it was not his daughter.

“THIS ISNT HIS DAUGHTER… you have the wrong Khumbuza !!!! Stop spreading wrong news … I went to high school with his actual daughter and this isn’t here,” wrote @khawula_musa.

“So,Bheki Cele just happened to be at the same birthday party & club with the wrong Khumbuza?” wrote @malusi_tsepo.

NOT ACTUALLY THE POLICE MINISTER’S DAUGHTER

Cele told eNCA that the woman in the video was not his daughter. His spokesperson Lirandzu Themba also tweeted to confirm that it was not the police minister’s daughter.
