Big Brother Mzansi finalist Themba “The Ghost” Mabaso has heeded the call from his fans, #GhostNation, to start a virtual wallet account.

The former season three housemate did not win the R2 million cash prize on Sunday 3 April after losing to Michelle “Mphowabadimo” Mvundla.

As a result, his fans are giving him a special gift by donating money in a bid to get to the R2 million prize money.

Themba announced the official donation page on his Instagram account on Monday. Currently, his account is being run by someone else.

“As requested by Ghostnation, we opened go fund me account for Themba. It’s in his name so his Identity Document and personal banking details will be needed to withdraw the funds.
PayPal account will be linked to the go fund me soon,” the post read.

The tattoo artist spoke to TshisaLIVE about this special gesture from his supporters. He revealed that he was not going to ask his fans to do anything more for him because supporting him, alone, is enough.

“At first, I was not aware that it was happening when I didn’t have my phone, but now I know that it’s happening and who is running the page for me so people can send money there. I didn’t want to involve myself in asking for money from people because they had already given me love but they are doing it out of their hearts. I was not prepared for this kind of hype,” he told the outlet.

When Themba opened the account on Monday, donations were sitting at R7 000, but as of Thursday 7 April, fans have gifted their favourite housemate with a little over R80 000.

The goal is to get him enough money to make his dreams come true, especially after learning he had planned to expand his tattoo shop, build a home for his mom and pursue his music career had he won the money – Drum Magazine reported.
