Cindy Mahlangu, who plays the role of Siyanda on The Queen, and Bafana Bafana player Bongani Zungu have confirmed speculations that they’re dating.
Followers of the pair have noticed them posting pictures of each other on their social media channels after months of keeping mum about their rumoured relationship.
Bongani Zungu, Cindy Mahlangu dating rumours
Reports of the soccer star and the actress dating began doing the rounds in August 2020 when they began “flirting” with one another on social media.
The duo also surprised fans when Zungu introduced the actress to his mother and posted a since-deleted video of the three of them hanging out.
ALLEGATIONS OF INFIDELITY
The pair also trended in February this year when the soccer star was rumoured to be cheating on the actress.
This came after a picture was widely circulated on social media of him kissing an unknown woman on the cheek at a party while on loan to the Scottish club Rangers.
The soccer star was one of five Rangers players fined by Scottish police “for attending an illegal gathering of 10 people in a flat” in breach of lockdown rules during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.
Zungu was also accused of cheating on his former fiancée, Khanyi Cele, with Cindy Mahlangu in a video months before they revealed they’re an item.
The actress was also exposed for dating YouTuber Vicky Jonas’s Nigerian boyfriend after Zungu’s picture with the woman went viral.
Mahlangu denied dating the Nigerian man, confronted Jonas about the rumours she was spreading about her, to which Jonas replied:
I was hacked.
Jonas eventually apologised for tarnishing the actress’s name following a lawsuit that demanded she does so.
