Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha Shimora’s relationship has been riddled with trials and tribulations. When Babes Wodumo just came into the spotlight, many criticised her relationship with the musician who is much older than her. Things became worse after Mampintsha started physically abusing the young singer.
The pair are now married and have a child together but there does not seem to be light at the end of the tunnel – or at least that’s what fans think.
Babes Wodumo’s fans spot some trouble with Mampintsha
Self-proclaimed Gqom queen Babes Wodumo achieved a high level of success at a very early age. Her road to success was not easy as her relationship with her husband Mampintsha seemed to be always on the rocks.
Fans are worried that the pair are still struggling to make things work after Mampintsha headed online to ask for help finding a personal chef.
His post led many to believe that his wife is not taking care of him which is driving him to look for outside help. Their suspicions unfortunately don’t come out of the blue.

A timeline of drama
Just a few months ago, Babes verbally attacked fellow musician Makhadzi for allegedly trying to steal Mampintsha.
Makhadzi quickly responded by saying she had no interest in Babes’ man while adding that Mampintsha was the one who was staring at her and not the other way around.
The pair also ran into a bit of trouble with Mampintsha’s mom who continues to say that Babes Wodumo is not welcomed in her family. In 2020, the to butt heads as she accused Babes of faking her pregnancy.
The most notable of their problems started in 2019 when Babes shared a live video of Mampintsha physically abusing her. Calls grew loud around SA as many begged her to leave him.
A short while later, she reunited with him and even produced a song that featured some of the things that were said in the horrifying video.
It appears her refusal to walk away has lost the sympathy of many who have adopted a “couldn’t care less” attitude to Babes and her rocky relationship with the father of her child.
