Miss South Africa presenter Anele Mdoda claims that she correctly predicted the winner of the pageant ahead of the finale.

Miss South Africa presenter Anele Mdoda has revealed she correctly predicted two women from the Top 3 ahead of the beauty pageant finale on Saturday.

The 947 radio presenter made the confession on social media, claiming that she made her predictions last week Friday already.

LALELA MSWANE TAKES TOP SPOT

According to Anele’s predictions, her Top 3 included (in numerical order) Lalela Mswane, Jeanni Mulder and Moratwe Masima.

Lalela ultimately took the crown, while Moratwe secured her spot as the 1st runner-up. Jeanni, meanwhile, made the Top 5.

Also correctly included in Anele’s Top 5 finalists was Zimi Mabunzi, who was named 2nd runner-up.

“Wow,” Lalela wrote in the comments section in response.

MIXED REACTIONS OVER MISS SOUTH AFRICA PRESENTERS

Meanwhile Miss South Africa viewers have had mixed reactions to Anele Mdoda’s presenting during the live show.

For the first time ever, the media personality took helm as co-presenter alongside colleague Nico Panagio.

Reacting to her MC duties, a number of fans took to Twitter to praise the mom-of-one.

“Anele is a vibe,” said one tweep.

“Breath of fresh air,” posted a second, whilst a third added: “@Anele  you are ROCKING it”.

Others were not as complimentary, claiming the presenter was “too loud”.

“I find Anele Mdoda too loud as  #MissSA2021 presenter…for the next Miss SA they should perhaps bring someone else who’s less loud and less screaming,” said one tweep.

“Anele is presenting this pageant like it is Miss Kwa-Nongoma,” said another.

Others claim a number of fellow South African celebs could have done  a “better job”.

“Zozi would have made a better MC than Anele”, said one tweep. “Somizi could have done a great job presenting Miss SA. @Bonang we missed you today,” said another.
