After years of an unofficial Twitter feud – or at least one invented by SA tweeps – Anele and Kelly Rowland may finally come face to face in 2022
The Mzansi presenter and the US singer have long been pitted against each other after the former took a sly dig at the latter in a tweet which went completely viral.
Since then the 947 breakfast host has been reminded of her past transgressions at every available opportunity.
But it looks as though their virtual encounters may turn physical if the former Destiny’s Child singer comes to town.

KELLY ROWLAND TO VISIT SA IN 2022?
Kelly Rowland took to Twitter to reveal she is looking forward to travelling the world in 2022. She also asked her followers to provide her with suggestions of travel destinations to add to her list.
She tweeted: “Where should I visit in 2022?”.
The singer and mom-of-two was inundated with suggestions from her 6,8 million followers.
Enter South African tweeps who suggested she pay Mzansi a visit. Interestingly, the star was keen on the idea.
“I love it there. Which part of South Africa?” she asked the tweep who made the suggestion.

Of course, hearing that Kelly Rowland was interested in visiting South Africa gave local tweeps a kick.
Many dragged in Anele Mdoda – who infamously called the star “ugly” in 2019.
