Abathandwa parts ways with Ayanda Ncwane’s record label

Popular gospel group Abathandwa has parted ways with Ayanda Ncwane’s record label Ncwane Communications after 6 years.

Popular gospel group Abathandwa has reportedly parted ways with Ayanda Ncwane’s record label Ncwane Communications.

However, the news comes barely a few months after it was reported that the Ncwane failed to keep up with her late husband’s business empire.

ABATHANDWA PARTS WAYS WITH NCWANE COMMUNICATIONS

City Press reported that Ncwane had woes with the South African Revenue Services (SARS) earlier this year. The celebrated reality star reportedly failed to settle a whopping R2 million to the SARS.

Unconfirmed reports have it that she has since handed over the reins of the business empire to her stylist brother, Phupho Gumede.

According to Sunday World, the group have since switched the floor and is now signed under Dondolo Music Productions. The ground has also rebranded to Abathandwa Musical Group (ATMG), with celebrated music executive Sina Kwepile as the new manager.

The group was thrust into the limelight after it dropped its first album under Ayanda Ncwane’s record label.

Since then, the group has been winning big. However, after the alleged fallout, Ncwane has repeatedly responded to the news.

AYANDA NCWANE CONFIRMS THE NEWS

Sunday World has it that Ncwane confirmed the news but made it known that she released the group a year ago.

In confirming the news, Ayanda Ncwane said: “Oh absolutely, Ncwane Communications has released the boys it’s been almost a year now. God gave me a huge mandate and assignment, and it requires a lot of my time. 

However, it was an absolute pleasure to introduce them in the industry and make them realize their dreams as artists.”
