Known as the biggest night in fashion, A-listers typically put their best fashion feet forward for the annual Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Last night was no different, but not everyone looked their best. Here’s a look at some of the most bizarre looks at the 2023 Met Gala.

THE BIZARRE AND WORSE DRESSED AT THE 2023 MET GALA
While most A-listers attending last night’s 2023 Met Gala, hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, some might have missed the mark.
From over-the-top ruffles to clashing patterns and bizarre shaped gowns. Here’s a look at some of the weirdest and bizarre looks of the night.
JANELLE MONAE
For her Met look, Janelle Monáe opted for a somewhat deconstructed ensemble by Thom Browne. The singer first appeared on the red carpet in what seemed to be a black and white jacket over a cone-like skirt.
The Glass Onion star later ditches the jacket to reveal a pair of black, sparkling underwear and a matching bra underneath a sheer cone-like dress. She paired the look with white and black platform boots.

LIL NAS X
He is known for his elaborate outfits, and for this year’s Met Gala, Lil Nas X pulled out all the stops and the bling. His look is courtesy of Dior Homme, and he was most certainly the most sparkly star of the night.
ALEXA CHUNG
For her outfit, television presenter and model Alexa Chung opted for Dublin-based designer Róisín Pierce. Her ensemble resembles something between a milkmaid outfit and pajamas with ruffle and bow details.
JARED LETO
In a move many feel was too far, Jared Leto attended the event dressed as Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat, Choupette.
JENNA ORTEGA
Good, bad, or just too much? Jenna Ortega, known for her role as Wednesday on the Netflix series, wore a black and white ensemble with lots of detail.
