Cassper Nyovest could be on to something. The Mufasa of South African Hip-Hop told Meek Mill that he could offer to help him achieve his wish of hosting a concert in the Motherland.

The two rappers, as far as we know, do not have ties but for the sake of entertainment, Cassper reached out to the Philly-born musician to offer any help he may need in organising a concert in Africa.

As reported by Slikour OnLife, Cassper was responding to Meek on Twitter, who broke the internet on Tuesday after tweeting that he wanted to — in his own words — do a “big ass show in Africa”.

While some were annoyed by his lack of specificity, Mufasa took it upon himself to challenge Meek in walking the talk.

Who is Meek Mill?

Meek, for those who do not know, is a rapper from Philadelphia, in the United States. His recent magnum opus, Championships, has sold more than 500 000 copies, catapulting him to the top as one of the greatest rappers to ever do it.

Outside of music, he is an advocate for equality and a voice for the voiceless African Americans who have been trapped by the US’ ruthless criminal justice system.

His fanbase in South Africa is pretty huge, considering that his discography includes collaborations with his Maybach Music labelmates Rick Ross and Wale, features with Jay-Z and a Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper, Going Bad featuring Drake.

Why we expect Meek to respond to Cassper

Cassper would be the ideal person to get in touch with regarding the possibility of hosting a stadium concert.

He currently stands as the first South African Hip-Hop artist to pack out three stadiums — the most being a 60 000-capacity show — in this generation.

We can only wait and see what happens from here onwards. One thing is for sure, Cassper’s call to Meek has not gone unnoticed.
