Tweeps react to couple getting hijacked while having sex [WATCH]
‘Sex drive gone wrong’: Tweeps didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when a couple got hijacked while they were having sex in their car.

Tweeps were puzzled by a CCTV footage shared by podcaster Sol Phenduka and @VehileTrackers which showed an unidentified couple getting hijacked by criminals while having sex in the car.

‘SEX DRIVE GONE WRONG’
In the video, the unidentified couple is seen getting dressed a few seconds later after criminals hijacked them in the streets and drove off with their car. The thugs violently break into the car, confront the couple and throw them out of the car before occupying the back seat.
The half-naked couple were fortunately not harmed by the criminals, who drove off before the couple got dressed to avoid further embarrassment.
While some Tweeps assumed the couple is South African others revealed the number plate of the car appears to be foreign in the video.
Security company Fidelity SecureDrive reported in May this year that there’s been an increase in motor vehicle-related crime and hijackings across the country, with certain vehicles targeted over others.
The chief executive of Fidelity Services group Wahl Bartmann informed Businesstech that Gauteng and Kwazulu-Natal recorded the largest proportions of incidents on record with 231 incidents in Gauteng, followed by KZN with 186 reported incidents of hijackings between April 2021 to May 2022.
Bartmann also revealed that incidents usually take place between 06h00-09h00 and 18h00-24h00 during peak traffic times when there’s reduced visibility at night.
According to Fidelity’s data hijackers most often targeted white (48%) or grey (18.9%) Toyota and Volkswagen vehicles with targeted models including:
- Toyota Hilux
- Volkswagen Polo
- Toyota Quantum
- Nissan NP200
