BBC Brit has a superb lineup for November 2020, including the return of ‘Top Gear’ season 29 and ‘Agatha Raisin’. Here a few highlights to look out for.

The acclaimed BBC Brit – Channel 120 on DStv – has everything from tear-jerking moments to dancing battles, as well as the 29th season of Top Gear. Here a few highlights to look out for in November.

‘Top Gear’ – Season 29

For their first series, Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness go bigger than ever before as they test new cars, old cars and their own physical endurance to the very limit.

This time around, they’ll be tackling a giant Wall of Death in old insurance write-offs, downhill skiing in holiday hire cars, unveiling a go-anywhere fully electric-powered ice-cream van for the twenty-first century, and attempting to survive 24 hours in their cars.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – Season 18

Still pining after next-door neighbour James Lacey, Agatha Raisin joins a local ramblers’ group of which James is a member too.

‘Small Axe’ – Anthology

Small Axe is an anthology, which compromises five original films by Academy Award, BAFTA and Golden Globe-winning filmmaker Steve McQueen.

Set in the late 1960a to the mid-1980s, the films each tell a different story involving London’s West Indian Community, whose lives have been shaped by their own force of will, despite rampant racism and discrimination.

Even though this collection of films is set some decades ago, the stories are as vital and timely today as they were for the West Indian Community in London at the time.
