ANCWL roasted after coming out in support of Tshwane candidate Thoko Didiza

The ANC Women’s League’s Bathabile Dlamini — yes, the same minister that said South Africans can live on R753 a day while her hotel room costs R11 000 a night — has come out in support of the ruling party’s controversial Tshwane mayoral candidate.

Tshwane is in flames because the ruling party put Thoko Didiza forward as their mayoral candidate and as if that’s not enough the Women’s League had to go and add some more fuel to the fire.

ANC members on Monday started a wave of violence that’s swept through parts of the capital, leaving burnt clinics and buses, looted shops and damaged property in its wake. Meanwhile, state security minister David Mahlobo blames the violence on gangsterism while minister of social development and ANC Woman’s League president Bathabile Dlamini throws her impotent organisation’s support behind Didiza.

Well, folks on Twitter have had just about enough and they’re laying into the WOmen’s League like it’s the last Tweet they’ll ever send.
