MMC for Development Planning in the City of Joburg councillor Belinda Kayser-Echeozonjoku is set to support residents demonstrating against the exorbitant fuel prices tomorrow, Saturday, 2 July.

“I will be joining my residents who are participating in the Fuel Protest this Saturday, 02 Jul 2022. I am a DA Councillor, so you will find me in my DA jacket at 9am. If you are also tired of being sick and tired, you are welcome to join me,” she urged.

Since this isn’t the only worrying issue, councillor Belinda also called for residents to pull up with placards raising their other concerns.

“You are welcome to bring placards, protesting Eskom or load shedding etc..as well,” she said.

The demonstration will take place on Corlett and Atholl Oaklands Road in Illovo, Sandton.

FUEL PRICE PROTESTS TAKE OVER GAUTENG

To prove the seriousness of this campaign, early this morning, the Gauteng North staff (DA) braved the morning chills blitzing the Pretoria North Constituency ward at the 2BP intersection to convince motorists to co-sign the Slash Fuel Price letter which intends to push the ANC government to cut the exorbitant taxes and fuel.

Blue t-shirts and placards were also spotted in Riversdale, Meyerton and Midrand constituencies.

Will you be part of the Slash Fuel Price blitz tomorrow?
