There are great meals to enjoy on a date because they’re not elegant when you really enjoy them, however, they’re perfect for family dinners. You can be much more of yourself with your family which makes these sticky grilled lamb ribs the perfect option this week. You don’t have to make them on the weekend, because they’re so simple and quick to make that you’ll be excited to get home and grill them. You can marinade them the night before and then just pop them on the grill while you make the sides tonight.

Sticky grilled lamb ribs suggestions

You can either make some individual ribs or as a whole rack as you baste them with the rest of the marinade. Make sure to turn them relatively regularly so that the sugar in the sauce doesn’t burn too quickly. The meat will be beautifully seasoned and tender while you give the outer layer a beautiful brown crust. Serve your lamb ribs with some roasted vegetables or a “pap tert”. Corn bread is a favourite among South Africans with lamb, so trying one of our corn bread or corn bake recipes is a great idea.
