Seafood Marinara With Rice

During the week it can often be hard to choose what to cook for yourself or your family. If you don’t have a lot of time, why don’t you try this creamy seafood marinara. Marinara is usually tomato and seafood based but this recipe removes the tomatoes and includes even more seafood. It includes three types of seafood South Africans love with fresh mussels, calamari and prawns which go very well with pasta.

Creamy seafood marinara suggestions

Seafood cooks quite quickly and this recipe is also great to cook outdoors. If you’ve got a gas burner and large pan for camping, this dish is great for those seafood braais too. The mussels are ready when they open themselves and the prawns are pink and tender. Make sure to clean the prawns properly but you can keep some shells on as it adds to the flavour. Serve with your favourite pasta or rice, and a light green salad.
